Weblogs: Notify subscribers when new content is posted to a website or blog
Weblogs ia a web application that provides infrastructure Ping-Server services. Weblogs.com is a resource for the notification of weblog updates and Internet content publishing. The core function of Weblogs.com is a list of weblogs that have changed. This information is available in both HTML and XML. The Weblogs.com ping service is used to automatically inform VeriSign whenever you update content on your site. The service receives notification (a “ping”) from your site that you have added new content, and if all goes well, Weblogs.com adds your site to a list of recently changed weblogs.
