Hictu is the first service for video microbloggers, who can create for free their own microblog with small posts (containing text, audio and video), personalize their public profiles, manage a presence-enabled friend list, meet new friends. If you like blogging but at the same time you can’t spend too much time setting up traditional blog posts, if you like video blogging but you want an easier way to create a video, if you like to meet new friends, share your ideas, promote auto-generated content, Hictu is for you. To create a video post all you need is a web cam. The features of the site are:
- Posts: Here, you can post a video, audio or a text.
- Messages: You can send messages from this section.
- Feeds: This section is my favorite. You can add your feed URL over here, but only one.
- Widget: Create widgets for your blog over here.
