Blogcatalog is in many ways similar to MyBloglog the difference is that after adding your blog it will be in the pending state till they review your blog. Here also you can create your profile which again is good for driving traffic. You can also create a custom widget fro your blog. They provide a blog directory if you are looking for a particular blog.
