Technorati has launched new ad network known as Technorati Engage. You have to sign up for a publisher account and you decide how much you want to charge per week. If there is a situation where you have “unsold space,” meaning there aren’t enough paid advertisements to fill your ad box, Targeted CPC (RON) ads will appear. Targeted CPC (RON) ads are run of network ads that are served only to online visitors within a specific geographic region and/or site category. For example, if the advertiser limits the Targeted CPC (RON) ad to only “Business and Finance” blogs in the U.S. and Canada, the ad will only be seen by visitors from those regions on blogs within that category. You are paid per click for Targeted Cost per Click ads on your blog. The amount you earn for each click depends on where the click occurred.

They have introduced an ad format known as the PhoText Ads. A PhoText ad is a selected image or picture that is displayed with a headline of up to 25 characters of text including spaces and a description of 65 characters. They say that the PhoText ads tend to have a higher Click Through Ratio than plain text ads.
I have joined this network quite some time back. However, there haven’t been any sales yet. It’s a new network and will take some time to settle down.
