New ad formats by Adtoll: Splash ad and full page ad

1) Splash ad: A splash ad is just like a small pop up box which comes up when the page loads. The best part is that this particular ad format is highly visible and can’t be missed by the visitor which means more money from your site. A sample splash ad looks like:

2) Full page ad: Full page ad is just like the same full page ads provided by Adbrite. The look and feels are very much alike. You can also add your logo to the full page ad.

List of best paying ad networks for Indian and International publishers

Here is a list of ad networks great for Indian and International publishers who receive their traffic mainly from India and non-US, non-Canada, or non-European countries:

  1. Bidvertiser: Bidvertiser pays by the number of clicks or CPC. It is not bothered about the CPM you generate. The CPC rate is good and it is good for Indian and international publishers. Payments are sent via check or PayPal on a monthly basis within 30 days after the end of each calendar month. If you have chosen to be paid by PayPal, BidVertiser will issue payment 30 days after the end of each calendar month that BidVertiser ads are running on your site if your earned balance is US $10.00 or more. If your account’s balance is not $10.00 at month end, the balance will be carried over into the next month and paid out once you have earned $10.00 or more. If you have chosen to be paid by check, BidVertiser will mail you a check 30 days after the end of each calendar month that BidVertiser ads are running on your site if your earned balance is US $50.00 or more. If your account’s balance is not $50.00 at month end, the balance will be carried over into the next month and paid out once you have earned $50.00 or more.
  2. Infolinks: Infolinks is a good ad network which displays ads everytime and there is no shortage of inventory. It is one of the best intext advertising networks. They have a paypal payment method and the minimum threshold is $50. Once you accumulate $50 in your account you will receive your payment within 45 days of the end of the payment period.
  3. Smowtion Media: These are one of the sites which are never in shortage of inventory. They have a 100% fill rate. The payments are okay for Indian and International publishers. They pay by check and paypal. The only problem is that even for paypal they have a minimum threshold of $100, which I guess is on a higher side.
  4. AdToll: Adtoll is more of a bidding system than a contextual network. So, it is up to advertisers to buy the ad rather than the ad network to set up the prices. It is also good for Indian and International publishers. They pay by check, paypal and wire. Checks require a minimum of $40 in earnings, PayPal require a minimum of $20 in earnings, Wire Transfers require a minimum of $1,000 in earnings and payments to your AdToll Account Credit have no minimum. If your earnings do not meet this minimum, the amount will be carried over to your next month’s earnings.
  5. Adbrite: Some people might complain that they pay less. Well, actually that depends on the niche of your site. Some of my sites are definitely getting less revenue from Adbrite, but some are getting okay. It can be used by Indian/International publishers. There is not 100% fill rate, but still it’s okay. The only problem is they don’t pay by Paypal. They pay only by check. The minimum check amount is $100.00 by default, but you may change it to any value equal to or greater than $5.00. They pay on a net-60 basis. For example, earnings you generated in March 2010, will get paid out in June 2010.
  6. Antventure: They are based in Hong Kong and are fairly new in the business but are pretty good. The best part is that they always pay in time. AntVenture pays all publishers by PayPal, U.S. Check or Bank Transfer on a Net15 basis. Payment will issue on 15th of every month for the previous months revenue. The minimum revenue required to generate for a minimum payout is the following: PayPal: US$ 1.00, Check: US$ 50.00 and Bank Transfer: US$ 500.00.
