I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and I can say I am more than satisfied with it. I have used a lot of antivirus softwares in the past. It was recommended to me by one of my friends who is a system administrator. He said that a lot of the companies are using this and it does not slows down the system while most other popular antivirus softwares do that. I thought to test their free 30 day trial version. After a few days I realised that this is the software I can rely upon. There are a lot of features, but these are the features I love the most:
- System Performance: There are some antivirus softwares while scanning makes the system so slow that you won’t be able to do anything other than scan. On the other hand when Kaspersky is scanning you be able to say whether scanning is going on or not. It does not affect the system speed at all.
- Virtual Keyboard: While typing your passwords you can use the virtual keyboard which works on mouse click. This is quite incredible. You don’t have to type your passwords.
- Automated scan: You can set the date and time of scan or let the system do it by itself.
I bet that if you try this software for 30 days, within 10 days you will be able to decide that this was the antivirus you were looking for.

Internet Security:
Nice post. I have been advocating Free Security Software used in a layered defense for several years. People always think Free AV is a scam because how could you stay in business if it was truly Free? Once I explain that the company makes their revenue from upgrades to paid versions with more user features or from selling to businesses then they are willing to try a Free product.
